North Penn 49 - Central Bucks West 7

Completing the Central Bucks sweep, North Penn dominated CB West. Leading 35-0 at the half, the 2nd half went quickly under a mercy rule clock. The Reporter's NP air attack sparks win describes the Knights performance, led by Dom Taggart's 5 catches for 109 yards and 3 TD's. Also from the article, "It was an emotional win for the Knights, who helped raise money for a local boy, Jacob Shive, who is suffering from muscular dystrophy. The North Penn community has raised $1,400, and is on its way to its goal of $2,000. Shive was there for the festivities on Friday night." (See picture links below) There are some nice pictures in the North Penn vs CBS photo gallery. North Penn romps to win over West from the phillyburbs web site provides the stat that the Knights scored 5 touchdowns on 17 plays in the first half. This quote from the article sums up the spirit of the game: "None of our guys quit," West coach Brian Hensel said. "There's more heart on this team than any I've seen. And give North Penn credit; they play with class, heart and character."
