PIAA Football Classifications

The move to 6 classes past it's first hurdle during the initial reading last week, but without the 2/3 vote needed to pass the final reading in May. Information on the PIAA 6 Classification proposal is published on the Patriot New Pennlive site. This includes a possible breakdown of each of the classes. Pennsylvania seems to have more teams per classification than other states. Indiana has 317 schools divided into 5 Classes. Apparently, Ohio decided not to split up the largest of their 6 classifications. Ohio currently has an average of 119 schools in each football classification.

Does any state have more schools per classification than PA?
