I had read a story and lost track of it, but after the doctor at my annual physical basically told me, "Get on cholesterol medication or die," I became more interested in
Teaching Old Drugs New Tricks. I was especially intrigued by the line, "promising findings that the amino acid homocysteine might be as good as, or possibly better than, cholesterol at predicting heart disease languished for more than a decade because of lack of funding." Hopefully, more later.
